Barc OCES and DGFS 2013 recruitment for engineering graduates apply online

DAE Invites  Young,  Dynamic  Engineering  Graduates And Science Postgraduates to  a stimul ating world  of cutting  edge technology in pursuit of basic and applied Research & Development in a wide variety of frontier areas of  relevance to our nuclear programme in the domain of engineering, physical, chemical, biological and earth sciences as well as nuclear engineering  including design, construction, operation and maintenance of nuclear reactors and associated fuel cycle facilities.  Selected candidates, after successful completion of one of the two academic programmes.

OCES-2013 and DGFS-2013

OCES-2013:  One-Year Orientation Course for Engineering Graduates and Science Post-Graduates  (OCES-2013)  starting in August 2013  at Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) Training Schools at 

 Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Mumbai
 Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research, Kalpakkam 
 Raja Ramanna Centre for Advanced Technology, Indore
 Nuclear Fuel Complex, Hyderabad
 Atomic Minerals Directorate, Hyderabad

DGFS-2013:  Two-Year DAE Graduate Fellowship Scheme for Engineering Graduates and Post-Graduates in Physics  (DGFS-2013)  for joining M.Tech. in specified specialisations commencing in July 2013 at

 IIT - Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras, Roorkee and 
 NIT - Rourkela and 
 Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT) - Mumbai

On successful completion of the  Training Programme,  a  career as  a  Scientific Officer in the units of DAE will provide  ample opportunity for professional development and  attractive career progression up to the highest echelons.

OCES candidates could also earn a PG Diploma or credits towards pursuing M.Tech.  / M.Phil.  / Ph.D. from Homi Bhabha National Institute (HBNI), a  Deemed  to be university, provided  their performance is above a specified threshold.  DGFS Fellows will get opportunities for pursuing Ph.D. through HBNI after completion of M.Tech.

Qualifying Degrees and Disciplines:

  B.E.  / B.Tech.  / B.Sc. (Engg.) in Mechanical, Chemical, Metallurgical, Civil, Electrical, Electronics, Computer, Instrumentation, Engineering Physics and Food Technology. 

  M.Sc. in Physics, Chemistry, Biosciences, Geophysics / Applied Geophysics and M.Sc. or equivalent M. Tech. in Geology / Applied Geology / Applied Geochemistry.A minimum of 60%
*  aggregate in the qualifying degree is an essential requirement. Science candidates are further required to have secured a minimum of 60%
* aggregate in B. Sc. also. 
*A minimum of 60% marks  (aggregate)  means the marks as per the ordinances  of  the respective university.

Other eligibility requirements can be obtained from the respective Online Application Portals .Screening for Engineering disciplines:  On the basis of GATE-2013 score valid in the academic year 2013-2014, or an Online Test, which will be held  during April 26  –  30, 2013.
