(a) Matriculation with Science and Mathematics from a recognized Board or its equivalent.
(b) Three years diploma in Electronics/Communication from a recognized Institute.
Experience of one year in the repair and maintenance of wireless, telephone and other telecommunication equipments from a Government Department/Public Sector Undertaking/reputed communication organization.
Having passed Grade-II Proficiency Test of Radio Technician conducted/approved by the Directorate of Co-ordination Police Wireless, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India with three years practical experience in the Armed-Forces/Govt. Department/any other recognized commercial communication training organization.
Degree in Electronics/Communication from a recognized University/Institute or its equivalent.
20 to 27 years as on 01.01.2013 relaxable by 3 years for OBC, 5 years for SC/ST, Upto 35 years (38 years for OBC, 40 years for SC/ST) for widows/divorced women and women judicially separated from their husbands and who are not re-married. Upto 30 years (33 for OBC, 35 for SC/ST) for departmental candidates of Delhi Police. Ex-Servicemen as per rules.
Physical measurement standards:
Male Candidates : (i) Height-165 cms, relaxable by 5 cms for residents of hill areas.
(ii) Chest-81-85 cms, relaxable by 5 cms for residents of hill areas.
Female Candidates: Height -157 cms, relaxable by 5 cms for residents of hill areas,
Physical endurance tests:
Male candidates :- 1600 metres race in 08 minutes 30 seconds (qualifying).
Female candidates :- 800 metres race in 05 minutes (qualifying).
Written Test: All candidates, who qualify the PE&MT, shall be put through a written test of 02 hours duration which will carry 100 marks. The paper shall be in two parts – first part consisting of question of 80 marks on theory on electronics and telecommunication of diploma standard, the second part shall consist of question of 20 marks on general knowledge. The paper shall be Multi Choice Questions (MCQ).

a) Application form shall be available “on-line” on Delhi Police Websites www.delhipolicerecruitment.nic.in & www.delhipolice.nic.in. Candidate can feed the required data, take the print out and send it to Post Box No 8020, New Delhi-110033 after completing the required formalities e.g. affixing a recent photograph, putting his/her signature, attaching the Demand/Bank Draft/Banker's cheque of Rs. 100/- in the name of the DCP/Recruitment Cell, Delhi.

No documents along with application form are required to be sent and the information given by the candidate will be presumed to be correct. To seek fee exemption of Rs. 100/-, the SC/ST candidates needs to attach an attested copy of caste certificate and Ex-Servicemen candidates to attach attested copies of discharge book/N.O.C.
