Competitive exam successNow a days there is a more competition for any competitive exams. Here I am giving some important steps based on my experience to success in any competitive exams related to electronics like BSNL, IES, GATE, BARC, DRDO, ISRO, BHEL, BEL, GAIL, etc……..

Step1: First step is read the notification completely and if they mention any exam date in notification note down the exam date,If they didn’t mention the date then just assume that the exam will be held with in 2 month from the release of notification(now note down the expected/assumed exam date).

Step2: Now next step is to know the syllabus and exam pattern ,search the internet/website of company and take the printout of the syllabus.

Step3: Most important step is to find previous year question papers,Search internet or Buy previous papers books in a market or online. The previous papers are used to give an idea about the exam pattern and to know what type of questions are giving.

Step4: Now check the previous papers questions, are these questions are coming from syllabus or not.If any question is from outside of the syllabus then you just add that topic into syllabus.

Step5: Until Step4 we collect the sources to prepare for the exam. Now according to the exam date and based on your convenience you should prepare a preparation daily plan/Time table.

Step6: According to the Plan/Time table Start your preparation. Before reading any text book first check the previous questions concert to that subject/topic and observe what type of questions are giving, and which areas they covered most,so that its becomes easy to study and give more interest to study.

Step7: Don’t spend more time on reading theory text books,Instead of that practice more objective questions of all previous papers of competitive exams that gives good confidence and shows the way to success..

ONE WHO PRACTICE A LOT WILL DEFINETLY GET SUCCESS.
ALL THE BEST!!!!

  1. thnx for the above article .it was really useful.the tips provided are effective and could easily double your efficiency if considered seriously. i really appriciate your article .however i want to advice all GATE coaching aspirants who are preparing for GATE 2013 to do consider the online coaching option for GATE exam preparation too as they do provide the same material and tips & tricks and u can start the online session acc. to your convienence plus it's available at a much lower price than the offline coaching.practicing with test’s regularly could easily double your results.but i do believe that in today’s scenario for Proper GATE exam preparation and development of concepts one must join some GATE coaching classes.i have also joined @ http://www.wiziq.com/course/9577-crack-gate-mechanical-engineering-with-full-syllabus-preparation .and i have to admit it was above my expectation's .surely must for every GATE aspirant.

  3. even if there is reservation competition is tough for us also,if you have 100 seats we have only 8-10 seats we have to fight for it too,its not like we are't putting effort, and no govt job takes a person "just" like that,we have to earn it.i think instead for blaming on reservation, try to prove yourself from looking those who have achieved without thinking on this.(there is no from of criticism here take it constructively) and read some personality development books too you will gain confidence (“Take up one idea. Make that one idea your life; dream of it; think of it; live on that idea. Let the brain, the body, muscles, nerves, every part of your body be full of that idea, and just leave every other idea alone. This is the way to success, and this is the way great spiritual giants are produced.” - by swami Vivekananda )
    all the best for all

    1. apart from 8-10 seats u have 100 seats. don't u know the meaning of reservation. What i had to prove i had proved and what further i have to prove i ll prove u need not worry. It is good that u got offended. A freebie is a freebie in any form ,an OBC says SC/ST are benefitted the most but even OBC'S get benefit and they deny it. If u have courage, next time while applying don't claim reservation. I am someone who will apply for even one seat if it is UNRESERVED but i don't thing same applies to u. WHAT EARN IT U ,NEVER EARN IT GET IT AS A PRIVELAGE. I am big follower of vivekanand u need not teach me his ideology. Hope this reply pinches u just like we people get humiliated looking at reserved seats.
